Gala is one of the newest varieties developed by the German vegetable concern Norika. The product is successfully grown in Russia. It is recommended for cultivation in the North-West and Volgo-Vyatsky districts. Potato have an excellent taste and can be stored for a long time without deterioration of the quality.

Description of the variety

The tubers length is up to 8 cm.
The width up to 6 cm.
The weight one potato is from 100 to 120 g.
The shape is round or less often oval.
Peel tone is yellowish.
Peel thickness is average.
The pulp is pale yellow (color gets deeper sometimes).
High thickness and fibrous pulp.
The content of starch is low.
The content of carotene is high.
The color is stable during boiling.
